Ac Milan has signed Mike Maignan as their new goal keeper replacing the outgoing Gianluigi Donnarumma whose contract expired at the end of the season.
The 25-year-old has penned down a long contract that will keep him with the Rossoneri untill June 2026 with 16 as his Jersey number.
According to Fabrizio Romano (Sports Journalist/transfer insider), the French professional and League 1 winner has signed off for €13 Millions plus adds on to former club Lille as in agreement between the two teams.
Maignan came through the youth teams at Paris-Saint- Germain and was an unused substitute several times but later picked a stable professional play when he joined Lille in 2015 and became their first-choice goal keeper.
Gianluigi Donnarumma’s departure news from The Devil surpassed recently by the club officials following his contract expiration and renewal was not reached upon between two parties.
Ac Milan technical Director, Paolo Maldini confirmed to the fans about Donnarumma’s leaving from the club this summer as a free agent after six-years long stay at Sun Siro.
