After spending the first few months of this year fighting with opposition leader Robert Kyagulanyi famously known as Bobi Wine, Uganda President Yoweri Museveni is currently fighting with corona virus in the country. Covid-19 has been taking lives of plenty of the people in the country forcing the Head of State to take precautions by imposing rules and regulations in order to curb the deadly disease.
There was a mixture of good news and bad news to the people of Uganda. First it was good to hear that Covid-19 cases in the country have been going down in recent days but then, it was a sad moment to President Yoweri Museveni and his government after worrying news was confirmed to the people.
According to NTV Uganda, District Health Officer Dr. Lawrence confirmed that it is not that the Covid-19 cases have been going down, he said that the cases have been going down because of a lack of testing kits in the country.
That means that with enough testing kits, corona virus disease cases will be high. At the moment, they are testing few people and that’s why there are few positive cases but there may be many people out there who are positive and haven’t been tested yet.
