Bobi Wine Ranked second East Africa’s Richest Musician Ahead Of Jose Chameleon and Diamond Platnumz

Also Kenyan Akothee can’t keep calm after she was ranked Africa’s richest female musician, and the richest artiste in East Africa region.

The Ugandan Pop Star was ranked number 19 on the list which rated top 30 richest musicians in Africa. The list was allegedly published by Forbes and has appeared in several news outlets across the continent.

Senegalese singer Youssou N’Dour was ranked Africa’s richest musician with a net worth of $150 million, followed his compatriot Akon ( $80 million) then South Africa’s Black Coffee ($62 million) and Nigeria’s Don Jazzy ($34 million) were ranked 3rd and 4th respectively.

Akothee was ranked 15th richest musician in Africa with a net worth of $10 million/Ksh 1 billion. Bobi Wine was ranked second richest musician in East Africa with a net worth of $8 million, Jose Chameleone was third with $6 million while Diamond Platnumz was ranked fourth with $5 million net worth.

Akothee and Tinashe Kachingwe were the only female musicians to be featured on the list of Africa’s richest musicians. Tinashe, who is an American citizen with Zimbabwean roots, was ranked at position 26th with a net worth of $6 million.
