National Unity Platform (NUP) leader, who on Saturday claimed that Selector Davie was kidnapped on January 12 by alleged security forces from his home in Magere, Wakiso District.
Bobi Wine said in a facebook post that the disc jockey’s home was raided at night by SFC who assaulted and bundled him into a van. Fearing for the worst, the singer turned politician, who was under house arrest in the outskirts of Kampala, said efforts to locate Selector Davie were proven futile and could be ‘languishing in a torture chamber or safe house.
Today Selector Davie was granted a bail after being paraded in Court Martial as Pop Star turned Politician Bobj Wine explains below :

He was today removed from the illegal detention in Makindye military barracks where he and hundreds of other NUP/People Power supporters have been held incomunicado. He was abducted from his home in Magere by soldiers on 12th January and he tells of grave torture visited on him and other detainees. He was paraded before the Bombo court martial this afternoon and released on bail in a very worrying health condition.
Please continue demanding for the unconditional release of all political prisoners.
Also Davie has communicated on his Facebook page and thank Ugandans for demanding the government to release him.
