Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine is a president hopeful in Uganda. He is determined to unseat the incumbent, president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in the upcoming general election. His determination is being noticed a round the world, especially where his supporters have been tacked on several occasions by security personnel. Personal bodyguard was allegedly killed by a military van during an intense campaign trail.
Well, due to covid-19 prevention protocols, the government banned some of the campaign trails in specific districts in Uganda. It was alleged that there is a spike of covid-19 cases in those areas prompting a radical decision. The move to ban political gatherings angered a section of political leaders, Bobi Wine included. They termed the move as a tactic from president Museveni with an aim of blocking them from accessing highly populated regions.
Well, according to reports from Uganda. Robert Kyagulanyi has allegedly refused to follow the guidelines and he is busy proceeding with his planned rallies. This might land him in trouble with security personnel who might move to arrest him.
