Frank Ssenteza, a personal bodyguard of presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine, was on Sunday afternoon knocked by military Truck and died in Busega – about 10 kms from Kampala.
The National Unity Platform (NUP) said Ssenteza was “deliberately knocked dead in Busega by a military vehicle as we drove from Masaka to Kampala to get further treatment for Kasirye Ashraf” , who was earlier injured in a fracas with police in Masaka.
Thousands of mourners have today (Monday December 28th 2020) gathered for the requiem mass of the late Francis Senteza at his ancestral home in Masaka City.
And his was Bobi Wine last message to his friend and a bodyguard attached to his security.
My brother Frank,
A safe journey to you. You have fought a good fight. You were brutally murdered while on duty, and it is my prayer that your blood was never shed in vain. We are pained by your death in the prime of your life. At 25 years of age, you could easily have chosen any other path, but you chose the path of the struggle for freedom. You were a real revolutionary in life, and today you tower above as a true Ugandan hero. The struggle shall be won. Uganda will be free.
Rest in power!
