Bobi Wine Rejects The Results as Museveni gets closer to Winning

As the Uganda Electoral Commission continues to update the country on the latest provisional election results, the incumbent president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has been leading by a far compared to his challenger Bobi Wine and he has even widened his lead over the past few hours.

Museveni is now closer to clinching the victory and he has a total of 4,340,134 votes as of now while Bobi Wine is trailing behind him with a total of 2,164,347 votes.

Bobi Wine had rejected the provisional results yesterday and in his statement, he said that there was fraud and violence in the polls and he called Ugandans to reject the results.

The electoral is expected to make another announcement of the official provisional presidential election results at 9am and it will be much interesting to see how things play out in the polls.
