Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert known by his stage name Bobi Wine a presidential candidate of the National Unity Platform (NUP) is set to deliver a new year message to Ugandans at 5:00pm local time
Bobi Wine who entire campaign team was arrested by the army on Thursday campaigned in Bukomansimbi Mpigi and Kalangala —holding massive rallies in those districts.
Those arrested include his closest aides Nubian Li, Eddie Mutwe and Sir Dan Magic among others.
Bobi Wine communicated the cancelation of his nation address on his official Facebook handle which was to take place yesterday, revealing that some reports indicate that his comrades in Masaka were badly tortured to an extent that some can’t walk.

According to Bobi Wine’s statement, they are still in the dark about several comrades such as Nubian Li and Eddie Mutwe.
“We are still in the dark about several comrades such as Nubian and Eddie Mutwe. We have spent the entire afternoon engaging our legal teams here and abroad to see that we put an end to this impunity”. Bobi States.
Bobi Wine’s Nation Address is scheduled for Today Saturday 2nd at 5:00pm.
