After fearing that his dream to play in England may not be realized. Bruno Fernandes has revealed that he was emotionally overcome as he cried when he heard Manchester United wanted to sign him.
This is even as earlier potential suitors of Spurs and Manchester United were unwilling to meet Sporting Lisbon £75 million valuation fee.
Bruno said he was scared that he won’t secure a move to play in England owing to the high price as he told Instagram live.
Bruno said that his valuation fee at Sporting Lisbon alsmost killed his career to play in England.
He noted that it was a dream come true and a big dream to play for United after securing £45 million transfer fee in January; since then Bruno had quickly clicked with United thanks to his playmaker role.
“For me playing in England and for United was the highest part of my career. To play in England for one of the best teams in the world,” Bruno explained.
