Busiro has thrashed islanders Buvuma 7-0 in the Bulange group opener at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru on Monday afternoon.
This is the highest winning margin against an opponent at the 2020/21 masaza cup at FuFA Techinical Center in Injeru.Busiro reached the final in the last edition and were beaten 1-0 by Bulemeezi at Namboole Stadium.

Amuza Kalibwami, Gerald Ogwet and Arafat Usama each scored doubles while Malida Kuteesa scored the other as Busiro sent a clear message of intent in the 2020 Airtel Masaza Cup.
Busiro dominated the game from the off, bossing possession in the midfield and using the speed and trickery of Usama on the left flank to create dangerous moments.
Their early dominance paid off as Kalibwami’s powerful strike off an Ogwet assist gave Busiro the lead inside 19 minutes.
Kalibwami added a quick fire second tapping in Usama’s low cross at the far post in the 28th minute.
In the 34th minute, Usama put his name on the score sheet with a beautiful finish inside the penalty area again off an Ogwet assist.
Ogwet was then denied from the penalty spot after Usama was fouled inside the penalty area, placing his effort against the goalpost. But he made amends moments later capitalising on an error from Buvuma custodian Douglas Ssekamatte to score his side’s fourth after 54 minutes.
Kuteesa further compelled Buvuma’s sombre evening further with a fifth goal with a cool tap in off Usama’s assist who peeled away from Buvuma defenders before laying an accurate low cross, eleven minutes from full time.
In the 90th minute of the game, Ogwet made it six before Usama put the icing on the cake with another crisp strike at the edge of the box deep into stoppage time.
