Tanzanian singer Harmonize alias Konde Boy has declared himself the best in the Bongo Flavor game, best than his former boss, Diamond Platnumz.
During a live session on Instagram on Wednesday night, Harmonize said right now he is the best artiste in Tanzania and is ready to take his music and Tanzanian music to the world.
According to the Konde Worldwide Records founder and CEO, those who expected him to fail after he ditched Diamond Platnumz’s WCB Wasafi label are surprised to see him leading the game.
Harmonize went further mocked Diamond Platnumz and Wasafi Media presenter-cum singer Baba Levo for their ‘boring’ song.
In reference to their latest song dubbed ‘Shusha’, Harmonize said it amazes him to see two artists and producers go in the studio to compose a song on another singer.
He alleged that Diamond and Baba Levo sang about him (Harmonize) in their song Susha.
“Imagine two people wake up in the morning and go to the studio, spent their time working on the beat and everything, only for them to sing someone, the whole song they were singing on Konde Boy, and funny enough, it is an ugly song, you cannot listen to it twice(sic) said Harmonize
In the song, Susha, which loosely translates to ‘we are dropping them”, Diamond and Baba Levo did not mention Harmonize in the song. However, the song hits back at those trying to compete with Diamond Platnumz as the king of Bongo Flavor.
In some lyrics, they said ‘wameshika visenti kidogo wanapanda mpaka dharau” which loosely translates to (they have received few coins and raised their level of contempt).
