Fufa FUFA Disciplinary And Ethics Committee Fines Express Head Coach

The Federation of Uganda Football Association Disciplinary and Ethics Committee Adjudicatory Chamber has punished the  head coach of Express Wasswa Bbosa with a fine because he failed to control his temper during a post- match press conference on 9th February 2021 and ended up making unsporting comments to the media which have back fired to him.

Wassa was quoted saying that,”we have drawn with a 12-man Vipers,we had won the match but they used their 12th player, the referee(William Oloya) to get afree –Kick they scored.

The two clubs shared spoils in a 1-1 draw at a a Betway Muteesa 11 stadium,Wankuluku.

The express Head coach Wasswa Bbosa  in response to Clear his name, he wrote an apologizing letter for the comments made stating that it was a lapse in judgement.

The decision made by the Adjudicatory Chamber is as follows;

The adjudicatory Chamber  has decided to impose sanctions in order to reflect seriousness of the offence identified above.

Therefore, Coach Wasswa Bbosa has been fined Two million Uganda Shillings only(Ugx 2,000,000) for his unsporting comments made after the game between Express FC and Vipers SC in accordance with Article 8(10)© of the FUFA communication Code.

Lastly The fine is to be paid wit in 30 days  Starting  from today ,failure of which, a 3 match ban shall be applied.
