Four time Masaza Cup winners Gomba Lions beat Busiro in penalty shootouts of (5-4) to reach the final of the Masaza Cup at FUFA Technical centre in Njeru.
The 90 minutes ended goalless to necessitate penalties .
In the 90th minute, both sides made changes in goal with Gomba’s  Anguzu Francis paved way for  Peter Katongole  and Busiro’s Kirabira juma  replaced Mutumba Adadi  as the game went to decisive spot kicks.
Kafeero Hamis Dagada ,Abdallah Ssentongo, Derrick Mbowa, George Kiryowa and Charles Bbaale all Converted their spot kicks to send Gomba through.

Busiro’s penalties were scored by Kasule Brian, Adriko Rogers, Ogwet Gerald and Mubiru Edward Disty but unfortunately ,Kuteesa Malida failed to covert his spot kick.
Busiro, who lost to Bulemeezi in 2019 final, will extend their wait for their first Masaza Cup title as Gomba intensify their search for a record extending fifth Cup.
Gomba will face Buddu   in this years Masaza Cup Final.
Gomba’s  Charles Bbaale is the leading top scorer with 7goals in this Masaza Cup edition.
