Ugandan Ministry of Health has been forced to release a video after rumours spread like bush fire that their health Minister Jane Ruth Aceng had faked her Corona virus vaccination.
In a statement, the Ministry has requested Ugandans to ignore the rumours going round since their Minister of health led the citizens by example in the vaccination process.
The health minister became the first individual in Uganda to become vaccinated noting that the rumours going round were misleading and aimed at creating fear among Ugandan citizens.
For those deliberately trying to convince the public that I was not vaccinated against COVID-19 yesterday, take a look at the video below.
I was vaccinated using the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine during the #COVIDVaccinationUG launch.

“Please ignore the fake video making rounds on social media indicating that @JaneRuth_Aceng was not vaccinated against COVID. Below is the actual video taken during the launch of the #COVIDVaccinationUG campaign where @JaneRuth_Aceng was the 1st individual to get vaccinated.”
In the video, the Ugandan health minister is seen being prepared for the vaccination of the first dose against the novel Corona virus infections becoming the first ever Ugandan to receive it.

The guess is clearly seen preparing the dose and later on is seen injecting it on the health minister who is seen making faces which raised the concerns earlier after she received the vaccination.
The members of the fourth estate surround her and they have the freedom to record the whole thing and it is not known why rumours claimed that she asked the whole process on Wednesday.
