After a period of 8 days while in detention at his home in Magere, the Kyadondo East legislature Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert who contested for president in the recently concluded elections has today addressed the nation for the first time since the electrol commission headed by Mr. Byabakama announced the incumbent Museveni as the elected president of Uganda for the sixth term.
Kyagulanyi urged Ugandans to use peaceful actions to demand for their rights as he said that the currently concluded elections were rigged and so he told the public not to accept the results from the electrol commission.
Mr. Wine also told Ugandans that his party “The national Unity Platform’ will soon unveil the next step as the days for filing complaint to the court of law are soon ending as the constitution provides only 10 days and of which 6 days are now gone as he is under house arrest.
Kyagulanyi also said that the team (NUP) is still welcoming different ideas from different people as they prepare for the next move.
“Museveni decided to go to the bush after clamming that Obote who was the then president had rigged the elections of 1980 and he is now the same person with the same tactics being applied to the different generation, Museveni should know that we’re removing him, we are removing the dictator” Bobi Wine said.
