Benevento has defeated Juventus with a 1-0 victory at Allianz Stadium in Turin.
Benevento have found the back of the net through Adolfo Giach in the 69th minute.
The Victory has helped to boost Benevento’s survival hopes as they moved seven points clear of the relegation zone to sit in the 16th position.
The relegation battlers’ have managed to put an end on their 11 match winless run.
Before this game, Juventus were unbeaten intheir previous five league games but were defeated by Filippo Inzaghi’s minor side.
The defeat has dented defending Champion’s Serie A title hopes because they are currently sit third on the table , 10 points behind leaders Inter Milan with 11 games remaining on the 2020/21 season.
Therefore, Andrea Pirlo’s side is now fighting to finish in the Top four in order to book a place in the 2021/22 UEFA Cha mpions League.
Juventus’ Cristiano Ronaldo is still the leading Serie A goal scorer of this season with 23 goals followed by Inter Milan’s Romelu Lukaku who has 19 goals so far.
