Juventus Rewards Ronaldo For Surpassing Pele’s Goal Scoring Record

Cristiano  Ronaldo scored a hatrick last  weekend against Cagliari in the Italian Serie A to move clear of Pele’s  desputed  767 career goals.

The Portuguese Captain was presented with a special Shirt by Juventus president Andrea Agnelli a head of today’s Seria A game against Benevento.

This shirt number had ‘’G.O.A.T.’’ which means ‘’greatest of all time’’  and ‘’770’’ printed on it to reflect Ronaldo Surpassing Pele’s career goals in a 3-1 victory over Cagliari last weekend.

The 36 year was named the Serie A player of the year last Friday for the second consecutive edition.

Ronaldo won the prize in 2019 after his but the award did not take place last year because of the Corona Virus.
