KCCA wins Match Day Three Against Mbarara City

KCCA  maintained their 100% start  of  the 2020/21 season on Friday evening with a 2-0 home win over Mbarara City FC at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.

Sam Ssenyonjo extended his scoring run for KCCA as he netted his fifth goal in the club’s three opening games

In the 38th minutes, the Kasasiro Boys broke the deadlock after Denis Iguma’s header was deflected into the back of the net by Souleyman Bamba off a Moses Aliro free kick to hand the hosts a goal’s lead at halftime.

Moses Aliro was stretched off with Injury for Hasan Musana before the halftime break.

It was in the second half that youngster Ssenyonjo then got his name on the scoresheet after rebounding the ball into back of the net in the 51st minute to double the hosts lead.

Mbarara City best goal scoring chance of the game fell to Bashir Mutanda in the second half but the former Villa striker’s effort hit the crossbar.

KCCA have now garnered a maximum  9 points from their opening three games .
