Kizza-Besigye won millions of hearts after telling President Yoweri Museveni to open up schools. Museveni locked schools after it was announced that the country was facing the second wave of Covid-19 and until now, he hasn’t opened up the schools.
According to reports, Kizza-Besigye called on Museveni to open the schools immediately. He argued that students marooned at home are young and have higher immunity to withstand Covid-19.
