Man Utd’s Marcos Rojo Is Having A Medical In Argentina

Machester United’s defender Marcos Rojo is having a medical at Argentina’s giants Boca Juniors.

The Argentina defender was signed by Louis Van Gaal from Sporting Lisbon in 2014.

Rojo had two successful season while playing at the heart of Red Devil’s defence.

The 30 year old has had limited playing time at Old Trafford due to injuries and spent last season on loan at Estudiante in Argentina.

Rojo lost his position in the pecking order to Eric Bailey, Victor Lindelof and Captain Harry Maguire.Therefore,he has been considered to be surplus by United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjear because he is injury prone.

Maguire has agreed a contract of 3 years at Boca Juniors but fee which has been agreed upon by both clubs is still undisclosed.

Sheffield United and Newcastle United were also interested in the defender but we’re forced out of the deal due to Rojo’s higher wages.

Phil Jones is also likely to leave the Club and their are speculations that he is likely to join Westbromich Albion.

Marcos Rojo has won one UEFA Europa League trophy, one FA Cup, one EFL Cup and One FA Community Shield during his six-and ahalf year at Old Trafford, scoring two goals in his 122 appearances at Manchester United.
