Marcus Rashford Doubted For This Weekend’S WestHam United Premier League Clash.

Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford was forced off with a shoulder problem during  the Red devil’s 3-1 3-1 defeat by Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

The Enland International  went straight down the Oldtrafford  tunnel following his withdrawal, as Paul Pogba replaced him with 15 minutes left to spare in the match.

A brace from Neymar and a strike from Marquinhos secured victory for PSG at Old Trafford as United missed their chance to secure qualification from Group H.

Ole Gunnar Solskjær  side need a point from their final group game away to RB Leipzig to reach the last-16 of the competition, and they hope Rashford will be part of the squad to do just that.

The 23-year-old appeared to be in some pain as he made his way from the pitch but Solskjaer is confident the striker will be back in contention for the game at West Ham on Saturday.

“It’s a niggling shoulder injury,” Solskjaer told The press. “Let’s see how quickly he can recover. Hopefully he will be ready for the West Ham game.”

The Hammers are currently fifth in the table after a run of positive results and Marcus will be determined to be involved, with the Reds keen to build on some improved league form.

David De Gea might also be doubtful for the West Ham game, after the United goalkeeper was seen struggling with an apparent injury during the second half against PSG.

Our no.1 made a stunning one-handed save to push Mitchel Bakker’s shot wide in the 68th minute, but was quickly grimacing and later went down to the ground.

De Gea had passed a fitness test to start after a knee problem forced him off against Southampton last weekend, when Dean Henderson took his place in goal.

Solskjaer gave no update on David’s fitness in his post-media media commitments, so hopefully the Spaniard is not seriously hurt.
