Presidential candidate Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert while campaigning in Kisoro has said that the the current president of Uganda Yoweri Tibuhabura Museveni used and dumped former IGP, Maj. Gen. Kale Kayihura
“Museveni used Gen Kayihura to make mistakes and dumped him. He (Kayihura) is never a free man. He was arrested with Gen Tumukunde who is running for president but Kayihura cannot even go home. If I am lying, let Museveni come to campaign in Kisoro with Gen Kayihura,” NUP presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi campaigns in Kisoro
It should be noted that the former IGP Kayihura was sacked together with the then State minister of Security Gen. Tumukunde in the April of the year 2018 after the misunderstandings amongst the two.
