Former Chicago Fire Midfielder Michael Azira has Completed his Move to New Mexico United.
The Uganda Cranes international Midfielder has joined the Club on afree transfer.
Azira ,has been without a Club since last November when he parted away with Major League Soccer giants Chicago Fire because his contract had expired
The 33year midfield Dynamo brings experience to the Troy Lesesne coached team having featured in over 125 Major League Soccer games while at Seattle Sounders, Montreal Impact and Chicago Fire.
The former SC Villa midfielder started his professional career in USA with Charleston Battery and made 40 regular season appearances before scoring a decisive goal in the 2012 USL championship final against Wilmington Hammerheads.
He also played for Lindsey Wilson College, University of Mobile Rams and Mississippi Brilla.
New Mexico United is an American professional soccer team based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Founded in 2018, the team currently plays in the USL Championship, the second division of American soccer.
