Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could be given a major boost to his transfer plans as the club might still have the opportunity to offload Alexis Sanchez this summer. This is because Inter Milan haven’t ruled out an extension to his current loan deal.
Alexis Sanchez is currently on a season-long loan deal at Inter but has struggled to make an impact since arriving at the San Siro.
He has only scored one goal and provided three assists in 15 appearances for Inter Milan.
However, the Chilean’s integration into the squad was hampered by an ankle injury, which sidelined him for around three months.
Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio still haven’t ruled out seeking an extension to his current loan spell.
“He’ll stay with us until the end of the season, then we’ll decide about his future with Manchester United,”
