Patrick Kaddu Has Joined Moroccan Botola Pro Side Club Athletic Youssoufia Berrechid.

Uganda cranes forward Patrick Henry Kaddu has completed his move to Moroccan Botola Pro side Club Athletic Youssoufia Berrechid.

The 25-year old joins Berrechid on a season-long move from RS Berkane after failing to secure playing time at Berkane based side since he joined them in 2019 on a 4year deal.

In January 2020, Kaddu was loaned to Ismaily Soccer Club but after the expiration of loan contract, the Egyptian club opted not to renew his contract, so he had return to Berkane in August.

During his short spell in Egypt, he found the back of the net only once in all competitions.


Kaddu started his career with Ugandan side  Maroons FC (2011-2014) ,Kiira Young FC (2014-2015) , he made asecond spell at Maroons FC (2017-2019) before moving on to  Kampala City FC where he played for two years before signing for RS Berkane in August 2019.

Kaddu joined Egyptian Side Ismaily SC this year from which has sent him on  a season-long move to  another Moroccan  side Club Athletic Youssoufia Berrechid.

On 17 November 2018, Kaddu scored his first ever international goal in a 1–0 win against Cape Verde in 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualification, sealing Uganda’s qualification in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

On 12 June 2019, Kaddu was named in Uganda’s 23-man squad for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt. On 22 June 2019, he scored in his sides 2–0 opening match win against DR Congo.


Kaddu’s new side, Berrechid who finished 10th on the table last season, will start off their 2020/21 Botola campaign this weekend, Sunday 6th December away to Wydad Casablanca.
