Cameroonian international retired striker Samuel Eto’o Fils has announced the launch of a new channel known as “Bnews1” from January 15, 2021.
Samuel Eto’o Fils is a Cameroonian retired professional footballer who played as a striker. In his prime, Eto’o was regarded by pundits as one of the best strikers in the world, and he is regarded as one of the greatest African players of all time, winning the African Player of the Year a record four times: in 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2010.
Samuel Eto’o Fils has announced the launch of a new channel known as “Bnews1” from January 15, 2021.
The channel is said to be available on CANAL+ (Canal 395). Presentation will be done by Ernest Obama former director of Vision4 TV. Information about the launch is contained on Eto’o’s official Facebook page #setoo9#

The retired 39 year old was recently crowned honorary citizen of Cameroon following his involvement in the sports world of the country.
The global icon Samuel Eto’o Fils was appointed brand ambassador of Senegalese air transport franchise “La Holding Bag’O” last month barely days after being named ambassador of Chad.
Eto’o signed out of the field of play in 2019 haven played for giants like Barcelona, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Everton and Inter Milan amongst others.
His collaboration with former CAF boss and other diplomats as well as support to football domain of Cameroon proves his willingness for a better Cameroon.
