In the past months over hundreds of Ugandans went missing after being abducted by the security personnel because of their political beliefs as many were charged for supportting the National Unity Platform president Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert alias Bobi Wine.
After Gen museveni coming out to confirm that indeed his CMI and somalia based commandos are the ones who abducted and killed ugandans on his orders now the families of several people who have been reported missing for several weeks have appealed to the government to have mercy and release them.
Yesterday, some of the relatives of the 243 people that the National Unity Platform-NUP said have gone missing without trace were at the party’s headquarters at Kamwokya to join Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu while he addressed a press conference.
They later moved towards the office of the United Nations Human Rights in Kololo where Kyagulanyi filed in a petition against the ongoing abduction and torture of Ugandans which violets their rights.
