Justifying the surge in petroleum product prices goverment spokesperson Cyrus Oguna pointed out that the government needs taxes to pay public servants and Improve community welfare through provision of essential services. This is ironical because citizens have no faith in government due to lack of accountability and openness in execution of development programs.
