Zari Hassan was among a bevvy of celebrities who congratulated Diamond Platnumz for buying a KSh 35 million Rolls Royce

Zari revealed that she helped Diamond pick the colour of the Rolls Royce Cullinan

The South Africa based businesswoman’s comment elicited mixed reactions

On July 14 2021, Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz became the topic of discussion after unveiling a brand new Rolls Royce he purchased.

Zari Hassan said they picked the colour of the Rolls Royce Diamond bought. Photos: Diamond Platnumz.

The singer shared videos of a shipping container as it was unloaded outside his Mbezi mansion before the luxury vehicle was driven out.

The Rolls Royce Cullinan purchased by Diamond has a base price of KSh 35 million, without factoring in the shipping fee and import duty.

The Cullinan is the first Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) from Rolls Royce, and by purchasing it, Diamond joined an elite league of African musicians.

Only two other African artistes, Davido and Shatta Wale, also own the luxury SUV.

Hence, it came as no surprise that musicians from all over the continent congratulated Diamond after flaunting the Rolls Royce online.

Among those who congratulated him on the purchase was his South Africa-based baby mama, Zari Hassan.

While congratulating him, Zari implied that they had discussed the colour of the vehicle Diamond should buy.

“Glad you chose the colours we agreed on. Congratulations,” Zari wrote.

Zari’s message elicited debate, and social media users reacted to it by writing:

@roshein_zdaddy: “Why did you have to point this out?”

@sarlyne9: “Waah. I dozed off when you wrote ‘agreed on’. Boss lady, you will finish me.”

@t_wegesa: “Zari, thank you for confirming.”

@emanuelkilinda: “Parents never separate. You guys debate while they make boss moves.”

Other notable people who congratulated Diamond include American producer Swizz Beats, South African rapper Cassper Nyovest and Congo’s Innos’B.
