Serie A: Napoli Sacks Manager

    Gattuso who has been fired

Napoli has sacked their Manager, Gennaro Gattuso after failing them to qualify for Uefa Champions League (UCL) next season.

This happens after the 43-year-old Italian’s boys tied knots with Hellas Verona in a 1-1 worst game last night where Napoli only needed to better results so that they could protect their position since Ac Milan and Juventus were at their back.

However, Gattuso’s side became stuck in the way against the Stubborn Verona as they failed to defend the only goal that could only hand them a qualifying card in to the Uefa Champions League (UCL) but instead slipped off and conceded a goal that concelled their hopes not knowing Juventus had cruised a 4-1 victory against Bologna and AC Milan held off Atlanta on away to leapfrog them drastically.

Napoli Chairman Mr. Aurelio De Laurantiis quickly tweeted on Twitter and confirmed Gattuso’s departure in a message that reads,”Dear Rino, I am happy to have spent the last two season with you”

“Thanking you for the work done, I wish you success wherever you may go.” De Laurantiis tweeted.

De Laurantiis continued to recognize Gattuso’s family too in concern to appreciate their support towards him for his services at the club.

“I also send a hug to your wife and children.” it reads

It seems this has been some of the clarified worst secrets and De Laurantiis’ tweet came by no surprise since it was initially shown the club had no clean relationship with the Manager.

The Club’s technical decisions have been hanging and Gattuso’s job has been at stake ever since things turned blue in winter when Napoli had a blip thus leaving the Coach unprotected.
