As tomorrow morning Uganda heads to elections to decide whether Yoweri Kaguta Museveni extends his long serving term to 40 years or to elect Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert a pop star turned into politician.
Tension has raised as Ugandans have been totally denied to access internet. This comes after Museveni claims that western countries want to decide for Uganda who is good.
TICT Minister Judith Nabakooba had warned Ugandans against the use of VPNS
“We have closed Facebook for a moment and whoever is using social media is against the laws of our country. I would like to inform you that even if you are using VPN, we are going to block all kinds of VPNs.”
