The late President John Pombe Magufuli had a flash disk that contained sensitive information, and he in most cases, walked around with it.

In one of his crucial meetings with government officials and mineral miners, Magufuli openly talked about the flash disk, and even showed it to his audience.

Then, he said he had acquired the flash disk a long time ago and it had crucial information about the country.

One of the crucial information that the flash disk contained was details about how foreigners were mining and sneaking huge amounts of minerals out of Tanzania.

In the same meeting, Magufuli talked about the deployment of spies, who risked their lives to work in the line of enemies, and who managed to reveal all the crucial data that the government needed to hold foreigners accountable.

He noted that spies were able to get all emails that showed how foreigners were allegedly smuggling minerals to foreign nations, and how they were undervaluing their minerals before siphoning them abroad.

Magufuli through the same spies established that foreigners had invited fellow countrymen but did not bother to increase the number of Tanzanians at the same station.

According to Magufuli, foreigners were 14 when they started working on a mineral quarry, only for their number to double within a few months.

Surprisingly, the government did not have any knowledge of how the number increased from 14 to 25, and at the same time, the number of Tanzanian remained constant.
