Uganda Cranes Flys Out To Cameroon Today

Uganda  Cranes contingent of 25 players will leave for Cameroon on Monday(today) at 3pm.

In Cameroon, Uganda Cranes will take part in a Pre-CHAN tournament that has hosts Cameroon, Niger and Zambia from January 1-7.

The Pre-CHAN tournament which will involve the hosts Cameroon, Niger and Zambia,was organized to shape players and hosts ahead of tournament

Express FC defender Murushid Juuko pulled out to chase his deal to South African side Maritzburg United.

Derrick Ndahiro (SC Villa) who has been nursing an injury throughout the league start has been left out.

Uganda Hippos striker Ivan Bogere has been dropped despite his heroics at the concluded Cecafa U20 Championship in Arusha, Tanzania.

Selected KCCA FC players will join the team after their CAF Confederation Cup return leg against AS Kigali on January 5/6.

The Cranes, who will be taking part in their fifth consecutive Chan tournament after featuring in the 2011, 2014, 2016, and 2018 editions, will face Rwanda on January 18 at the Stade de Unification in Douala, before tackling Togo on January 22 at the same venue. The final group game will be on January 26 against Morocco.
