Uganda Premier League Returns with Vipers Two Games Rescheduled

The Uganda Premier League secretariat has confirmed the dates for two games  that were postponed before the league re-starts in February.

The two game involve defending champions Vipers SC who were unable to play on match day one and two due to their engagements in the CAF Champions league.

Vipers were unfortunately eliminated from the CAF champions league by Sudanese side Hilal Omdurman and switched focus to defending their UPL title.

The league had earlier been paused to enable Uganda take part in the CHAN tournament in Cameroon where they were eliminated at the group stage on Tuesday.

The league was slated to resume on February 12th but will now officially restart on 6th February as per communication from the UPL.

Vipers who had played just three of the first five match days will now host league debutants MYDA FC on Saturday, 6th February  before travelling to Wankulukuku to take on Express FC three days later.

The dates for match day six have been maintained and it will start with four games on Friday, February 12 and end with one fixture on Sunday.

Saturday, 13-02-2021 @4pm

-Vipers SC vs UPDF FC
-SC Villa vs MYDA FC
-Bright Stars FC vs Kitara FC

Sunday, 14-02-2021 @3pm

-URA FC vs Express FC
