During the interview with the NTV Uganda, the ex-presidential candidate argued that the elections were not free and fair as the government seems to claim which has left him with a lot of questions than answers. According to him, the Electoral Commission chaired by Simon Byabakama, failing to provide details about the just concluded elections indicated that the process was not transparent.

“Ugandans should not consider the results from the Presidential election because they are fake. Atleast Kiggundu’s EC was better at providing a trail for the results that were announced in the 2016 elections. Chairman Byabakama did worse with these results,” Mr. Kabuleta claimed.

Mr. Kabuleta went further arguing that during the process of transmission of results, President Museveni’s results were almost constant all through, a situation that very impossible during the election tallying in any elections.

“From this election, Yoweri Museveni’s election results were almost constant from the start, something that’s impossible when tallying results in any election,” he added.

During the 2021 General Elections, the Electoral Commission announced President Yoweri Museveni as the winner with 6 million votes, where he was followed by his closest challenger the National Unity Platform (NUP) party leader Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine.
