Minister Ssempijja’s push for a votes recount has collapsed at the Chief Magistrate’s court in Masaka. The Magistrate had ordered for a recount but called it off after some ballot boxes were discovered to have been broken opened. Others had pink instead of the orange seals that were used during the January 14 elections. Ssempijja Vincent has refused press interviews.
