Ivan Bogere has joined Wakiso Giants a loan deal from Proline until the end of this season.
Bogere will join the team after participation in this years U20 AFCON championship in Mauritania.
He has joined the Purple Sharks to fill the void that was left by Karim Ndugwa who contract was terminated because of poor performance.
Wakiso Giants have already completed the acquisition of forward Kipson Atuhaire from Rwanda this month.
The striker recently guided Uganda Hippos to the AFCON U-20 after Hippos emerged winners of the CECAFA region.
Bogere finished as the CECAFA U20 Championship top scorer with 5 goals.
Bogere recently guided Proline FC to their first ever Stanbic Uganda cup trophy in 2019 as well as emerging as the Fufa Big league topscorer with 14 goals as Proline was promoted to the top flight.
Ivan Bogere made history in the CAF Confederation cup , Scoring Proline FC’s first ever goal in the tournament and hat trick to his name before he left to Dubai’s Al Nasr.
Through his football career, Bogere built his mother a house back home in Busunju, Kiboga district and as if that was not enough he also availed the home with electricity.
While away with the Uganda U-20 team on National duty, the youngster was named the Footballer of the month for November at the Real Star Awards ceremony in December last year and his accolade was picked by his mother Olivia Nakyeyune .
