Yoweri Kaguta Museveni not ready to leave Power

Museveni has come out to state it clear that,the National Resistance Movement (NRM),won the 2021 elections. Museveni says that the elections were peaceful and everyone witnessed that.

Uganda’s elections were marred by violence ahead of polling day as well as an internet shutdown that remained inforce until four days,after the vote. Social media platforms remained restricted.

Museveni’s admissions raised concerns that some state agents carried out extrajudicial killings,as tensions rise following polls whose outcome was disputed.

If the opposition wants power from Museveni,it knows what it is supposed to do. Going for elections,is beating around the bush and giving false hope to the innocent youths. He who controls the military,rules the country.

Addressing the media,at Defense headquarters in Mbuya, General Museveni says that the National Resistance Movement (NRM),won because many people believed that it is the only party that can secure their future.

Museveni also congratulate all ugandans who turns out on large numbers on January 14 elections,to once again elect him as their president in his sixth term.

The head of state said that he is still not ready to leave power and office as he has unfinished business as the president,and will only leave when asked to do so by his party.

He also thank his supporters who have always stood out with him and assured them of a peaceful administration under the National Resistance Movement (NRM), leadership.

The president urged the youth to engage in income generating activities that will always benefit their future.

He cautioned them against involvement in matters that would land them into trouble.
