Ugandan president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni went spiritual while attending a prayer service at Kyankwanzi region. On Sunday April 25, the president urged all Members of Parliament elect to seek the kingdom of God first and the rest shall be added onto them.
While delivering his speech at the service, Museveni used the example of King Solomon in the Bible who had the chance to ask God anything and ended up choosing Godly Wisdom.
“During the prayers today in Kyankwanzi, I urged MPs-elect to seek first the kingdom of God and all the rest shall be added onto them just like King Solomon, who had the chance to ask for anything from God but chose Godly Wisdom.” Stated Museveni.
A segment of the citizens thanked the president for the inspiring message. They requested him to champion forgiveness in the country as a way to reunite people.
