Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s sixth term would see him serve for 40years exceeding Robert Mugabe

The President of Uganda, His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s presidency has been put on spotlight having received very few conglatulatory messages from his presidential peers in Africa and beyond.

The government of Uganda failed to give accreditation to international election observer groups while giving stringent measures to the few who were allowed in. The government machineries prevented the journalists fraternity both local and international from cross what they had termed as “red lines.”

On the same day, there was heavy deployment of police and military personnels in the streets of the capital of Uganda and in all major towns. The government’s explanation for the deployment were aimed at putting in a caveat so that the planned rigging if the presidential election would go on unabated.

This latest revelation goes on to put question mark on the credibility of the Uganda’s presidential election poll results. In light of this, NUP leader on the other hand, has vowed to challenge the presidential election results in the court of law thus casting a shadow on the credibility of the same. If it goes through, then it will scuffle Museveni’s sixth term that would see him serve his people for forty years equating or exceeding Mugabe.
