“A picture of Mama Janet Museveni, Natasha Karugire, and myself during the lunch break at the NRM Leadership retreat in Kyankwanzi,” the president’s tweet read.
According to my own view, Museveni is glooming his daughter for the top country’s leadership or may be a key position in his National Resistance Movement ruling party.
He has four children whom two of them holds key position in his government. His first son Muhoozi Kainerugaha holds the rank of Lt. General in Uganda Army. He is also the Senior Presidential Advisor for Special Operations.
His second child, Natasha Karugire is the Private Secretary to the President of Uganda (her father) for Household Affairs.
Museveni who is the longest serving African President has been accused of his political opponents for being a dictator to ugandans.
His closest Challenger, Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bob wine has been the most accuser of the accusations towards the president.
He has never been defeated on presidential elections since taking over from Idi Amin administration 1986.
On 16 January 2021, the electoral commission of Uganda announced that Museveni won re-election for a sixth term with 58.6% of the vote, violet suppression of the opposition, and human rights abuses.
